Alocasia

Found in tropical and subtropical Asia and eastern Australia. There are currently over 80 species of Alocasia. These beauties are known for their large, showy leaves. These plants are known to be needy, but the benefits of mastery are promised to reward you with stunning collections! Alocasia grow from either rhizomes or tubers (commonly called "corms"), looking at you my propagators :). Alocasia are toxic to both pets and kids, so be sure to keep them away for everyone's viewing pleasure.
